Everything Started 2015 in London. Lucas and Despina met in a commercial gym and started working together as personal trainers.
Lucas finished his BSc in Sport Science in his home town Antibes, France, and worked in Dubaï and Los Angeles as a personal trainer. Despina was born and raised in Londonworking for the last 8 years of her life in the fitness industry in the vibrant borough of Islington in Central London.
They decided together to run away from the big commercial gyms and came up with a more boutique and personalized approach of personal training: Lifesquare fitness was born.
5 years later, they’re still here looking after 40 plus city workers that simply want to feel better and loose weight; to younger athletes that want more strength and conditioning or rehab after an injury; or even young mums and pregnant women in pre and post-natal training.

After completing his bachelor's degree in Sport Science in France, Lucas had the opportunity to train people all around the world. After working in Dubai, as well as training student athletes in California, he then went to London to start his own business. 5 years later he finally came back to his home town of Antibes to expand his business to the French Riviera.

Despina has been working within the fitness industry for almost 8 years. Not only does she have her personal training qualification, she is also a fully qualified nutrition advisor through Precision Nutrition. Despina specialize in fat loss, pre and post-natal, and strength training looking at exercise, nutrition and lifestyle.

I was after a PT in London/Hackney/Dalston area and was so lucky to have found Lucas. He is incredibly well qualified and knowledgable. Training is always worked completely around you, what you might need, and any injuries, so it's as effective as possible as well as safe. Aside from all that, I always have so much fun training, somehow between reps I still have the energy to laugh, but can never manage to distract him from not trying to push me that little bit further. Would highly recommend.

Super knowledgeable about the body and sports, he has an amazing ability to understand underlying issues that need to be addressed to increase flexibility, improve posture and develop strength. He said that he was training online with him and was french too so that could work.
I decided it to give it a go as Lucas was meant to be one of best personal trainers in the city of London.

When I first met Lucas, my whole body was aching and I did not think we would be able to do anything but Lucas made me try various exercises until he found some which I could do without hurting. Each week he found new exercises and slowly my aches and pains disappeared and I felt stronger and stronger. He still continually finds new exercises to do to make sure the whole body has a work-out. He is very conscious of my needs and what is the right way to work-out without hurting while re-inforcing the muscles. I will definitely recommend Lucas to anybody who wants to work-out. Lucas is also extremely knowledgeable about diet and advises on what to eat and how and when to work-out during the week.

I have been having personal training sessions with Des for over a year now.
My strength and coordination has improved tremendously including my overall fitness. I suffer from Rheumatoid arthritis and Des has produced a plan around this but at the same time still pushing me. Without Des I’m sure I would be in a lot more pain and my range of flexibility would be very limited. Thank you Des, I really would be lost without you.
My son aged 16 years has started sessions with lucus - ( partner). My son is extremely sporty but has suffered with Osgood Schlatters in past. Lucas makes exercising fun and also interesting – explaining what we’re doing and why
Lucas really challenges me and seems to know my capabilities or how much more I can be pushed more than I do. He’s very intuitive and easy to work with while still being challenging.
Flexibility is key. I work full time, travel a lot for work and have a new born baby – and Lucas is great with his flexible schedule. We can always find time for a session despite our mutually busy schedules. Also, I’m really happy with Lucas on a personal level!

Why did you expand to Antibes in the South of France?

Why did you expand to Antibes in the South of France?

Well apart from the beautiful scenery, and perfect climate. Antibes is in the heart of the Cote D’Azur. Being in the middle of Cannes and Nice and only 30 minutes drive to Monaco makes it a prime location where many people can reach us. We want to be able to help as many people that want/need personal training as possible, so Antibes was perfect. Plus, the sun and sea help too!

What do I need for the home training service?

Yourself! Possibly an exercise mat if you have one, however if not we will bring one! We have an array of exercise equipment that we can bring to you. However, should you wish to have your own, a set of dumbbells, some exercise bands, and an exercise step is a good start.

What is the session cancellation policy?

Minimum 24hrs of the agreed session time. You will not get charged and we will be able to reschedule the session should you cancel before the minimum. Within 24hrs of the agreed session time, you will unfortunately be charged.

How do I pay for sessions?

We work only with monthly packages. We will invoice you, each month, the amount of agreed Personal Training sessions, and our bank details. You simply pay by bank transfer or check before the first session of the month commences. All sessions brought within one month, has to be used within that month.

Can I train with a friend?

Certainly! In fact sometime we encourage duo personal training as it helps with motivation and determination! Having that little bit extra encouragement, and healthy competition within personal training sessions can do wonders!
It will also help to split the cost☺

What is your contract policy?

As we only work with monthly personal training packages, you are not tied in to any contract. We kindly ask however that you let us know the month before you leave us.

All money that you have paid, will be non refundable.
All personal training sessions brought within one month, has to be used within that month.
We also have full faith that you will love it ☺

Of Course! Our Co-Founder and Head Trainer is a qualified Nutrition advisor and will be able to help all things food! We like to focus on what you can ADD into you diet/lifestyle, rather than take everything away! Focusing on habitual changes and taking one step at a time.

Which areas do you cover in The South of France?

Our main Personal Training Studio is location in Antibes. For the home training service, we are able to travel to, Cannes, Grasse, Mougins, Sophia Antipolis, Valbonne, Biot, Villeneuve loubet, Nice and all the way to Monaco.
Prices may vary from Nice to Monaco due to travel time.
